Travis Hunter Dresses As Stitch With Wife Leanna As Jacksonville Jaguars Star Faces Fresh Questions Over His Two-Way Role

Travis Hunter spent Saturday night in blue fur, and football had nothing to do with it. The Jacksonville Jaguars star dressed as Stitch for Halloween, his wife Leanna Hunter went as Lilo, and their one-year-old son copied his dad. The photos spread fast. They also arrived after a strange fortnight. Hunter scored and intercepted a pass against the Houston Texans, which set off a feud between Leanna and Shannon Sharpe. Then he went without a catch against the Indianapolis Colts. The costume was the easy part.
Leanna Hunter Posts Travis Hunter's Lilo And Stitch Halloween Photos
Leanna shared the photos on her Instagram story. One shows the couple kissing in a mirror selfie. Another shows their son in a matching Stitch outfit, perched on her waist. Her caption was short and fit the theme.
"Lelo & scrump," she wrote.

Hunter has become one of the most watched young players in the league, so family photos like these carry weight. They show a 23-year-old dad having fun between two jobs on the same field. Leanna has also been quick to defend him online, and her posts now travel almost as far as his highlights.
Travis Hunter's Jacksonville Jaguars Role After The Houston Texans And Indianapolis Colts Games
The Texans game gave Leanna her opening. Hunter caught a touchdown and picked off a pass in London, a combination no NFL player had managed in 24 years. She used it to answer Sharpe, who said on his Nightcap show after the Jaguars beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4:
"He's not playing both ways full time. Never have, never will," Sharpe had said.
Leanna replied on her Instagram story.
"Anyways… @shannonsharpe84 When you speak about my husband, make sure you put 'TWO WAY' player in front," she wrote.
Then came Week 8. Hunter finished without a reception against the Colts, though he logged a five-yard rush on what looked like a pass from Trevor Lawrence. Context matters here. Jacksonville led 28-0 at halftime and 42-7 entering the fourth quarter, so the Jaguars had little reason to push their stars.
Fantasy analyst Patrick Daugherty of Rotoworld still saw a problem. He wrote that Hunter's offensive role is too small in a passing game with too many targets to share, and that he is not even a boom-or-bust WR4. That gap between Sharpe's claim and Leanna's reply is where the real question sits. Hunter plays both ways, but the snaps on offense have not yet matched the hype.
Thursday offers a fresh test against the Baltimore Ravens, who lost quarterback Lamar Jackson in their loss to the Buffalo Bills. A weakened opponent and a short week could shift Hunter's workload. The Jaguars will show soon how much offense they trust him with.
