Marcia a Lampedusa per le vittime dei naufragi: 'Questo mare torni ad essere vita'

"Rendi i nostri cuori capaci di empatia affinché non restiamo mai indifferenti al grido di chi soffre, fa che questo mare torni ad essere un luogo di vita, di incontro e speranza per tutte le generazioni". E' con questa preghiera che, a Porta d'Europa a Lampedusa, si è conclusa la marcia per commemorare le vittime del naufragio del 3 ottobre 2013, ma non soltanto. "Un momento crudele per le famiglie delle vittime e dei dispersi", lo ha definito Tareke Bhrane, presidente del Comitato 3 ottobre. Mamme, padri e sorelle, con in mano dei mazzi di fiori, si sono accasciati senza riuscire a trattenere le lacrime. Un giovane eritreo si è invece messo in disparte, seduto sugli scogli, anche lui in lacrime guardando i fiori, lanciati in acqua da tanti studenti.
