Brighton Intensify Interest In Femi Azeez

Translate

Brighton are stepping up their efforts to sign Millwall winger Femi Azeez before the close of the current transfer window, Completesports.com reports.

Azeez has been strongly linked with a move away from Millwall following an impressive campaign in the Sky Bet Championship last season.

The 25-year-old scored 11 goals and provided seven assists in 37 league appearances for the Lions.

His outstanding performances also earned him a place in the Championship Team of the Season.

According to The Athletic, Brighton are determined to complete a deal for the Nigeria international before the transfer deadline.

The Seagulls have already seen two bids for Azeez rejected by Millwall.

Their latest offer is understood to be worth around £10 million, including add-ons.

Brighton are, however, expected to return with an improved proposal as they look to convince Millwall to part with the highly-rated winger.
