How long is Silent Hill: Townfall? Time to beat explained

Are you wondering how long you'll spend exploring foggy Scotland in Silent Hill: Townfall?

The iconic horror has been moving away from the original town in the last few years, but does that mean a change in length?

Based on our own review, here's how long Silent Hill: Townfall takes to beat.

Silent Hill: Townfall takes around 10-12 hours to beat on an average playthrough.

For comparison, that's pretty much how long it takes to beat Silent Hill f, while the 2024 Silent Hill 2 remake will take you closer to 15-16 hours to complete the main story.

Our playthrough took around 14 hours, but that's because we spent plenty of time wandering around (and dying, oops).

Players who are equally intent on seeing everything the game has to offer can expect to clock in closer to 14-16 hours in the game.

If you're the kind of person who prefers to blitz through the main story, then you'll be closer to that 10-hour mark, but you can probably get that time down to 8-9 hours, especially if you turn the difficulty down.

But for all the Platinum Andys out there, if you're planning on multiple playthroughs to see all the different endings, you're likely going to be spending more than 20 hours in Townfall.

Of course, once you've beaten the game for the first time, you'll make your way through the game a bit faster on subsequent playthroughs.
