Mass Effect Officially Returns November 2026 With New Release

Known as 'Cyberpunk 2077's' biggest fan, Angharad is a Welsh games writer who thrives in anything related to digital storytelling. If a video game explores the intricacies and horrors of womanhood, she is there.

Thanks to previous work at GAMINGbible, GameByte, The Loadout, Game Luster, Angharad has built a strong understanding of both the digital world and what fans want from it and is eager to share her thoughts and expertise with readers.

Whilst we wait... and wait for Mass Effect 5 to finally appear, Mass Effect fans are finding ways to pass the time, and it seems as though companies are also doing the same as, later this year, one stunning release is set to return a beloved character.

First launching back in 2007, Mass Effect was an instant hit with the sci-fi franchise gradually welcoming two more entries which now make up the Mass Effect trilogy. Then, in 2017, BioWare released Mass Effect: Andromeda, and whilst it did not receive the same critical acclaim as its predecessors, it is still an integral part of the beloved franchise.

Now, almost a decade on from the most recent entry, fans are waiting for the launch of Mass Effect 5, which was announced during 2020's The Game Awards. However, with hardly any information from BioWare, and the recent acquisition of EA by Saudi Arabian investors, the future remains uncertain for the Mass Effect franchise, especially now that it faces potential censorship.

All we can do for now is remain hopeful, and to help make things a bit easier, Dark Horse Direct is back with another stunning release.

Set to begin shipping this November, Dark Horse Direct has unveiled the Mass Effect: Miranda Lawson Figure, which is available to pre-order now at a acceptable £41.25.

Miranda Lawson, one of the galaxy’s most iconic Cerberus operatives and biotics, is ready to help lead your Mass Effect collection!

Standing at 8.5-inches tall, this figure captures Miranda as she raises her pistol with composed authority. Every detail, from the sleek white-and-black suit to her calm, collected expression, reflects her engineered perfection—even if that perfection has set her apart as much as it has empowered her.

First appearing in 2009's mobile iOS title Mass Effect Galaxy before becoming a member of Commander Shepard's crew in 2010's Mass Effect 2, Miranda has become a beloved character in the sci-fi franchise, so it makes sense that she is the next to receive a stunning figure courtesy of Dark Horse Direct.

Standing in her iconic white suit, complete with heels and a gun ready to fire, the figure perfectly encapsulates the executive officer, and it is hard to find this level of detail without breaking the bank. By pre-ordering now, you will get your hands on the Mass Effect: Miranda Lawson Figure when it begins shipping this November through to January.

Whilst the wait for Mass Effect 5 may feel unending, it is stunning releases such as this that are guaranteed to make the wait a whole lot easier.
