Taiwan has sent one team to the Asia-Pacific Seniors Touch Cup in Japan, but they face a formidable challenge in pool play, which is to begin today.

Taiwan’s men’s over-45 team face New Zealand in their first game at 12:10pm, with England, Australia and the hosts also in the grade.

The Federation of International Touch tournament, which runs through Saturday at the Tochigi Sports Park in Utsunomiya, has senior and masters age categories in men’s, women’s and mixed formats, with Canada, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Africa and the US also attending.

A livestream of Taiwan’s game against England on Friday is scheduled to be broadcast on the @internationaltouch YouTube channel at 11:20am Japan time.
