Amber Ray Calls For “Becoming a Husband” Masterclasses Amid Marriage Debate

Translate

Social media personality Amber Ray has weighed in on the ongoing debate surrounding “Becoming a Wife” masterclasses, raising a sharp question for her followers: are men putting in the same effort to prepare for marriage?

In a post shared on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, Amber defended women who choose to attend marriage preparation courses, emphasizing that genuine empowerment means respecting a woman’s personal choices.

“I see absolutely nothing wrong with a woman wanting to learn how to become a better wife. There’s beauty in intentionally preparing for something you value,” she wrote, adding that women should feel free to attend without fear of judgment.

However, Amber pointed out a double standard in how society approaches marital readiness. While women are routinely taught values like patience, submission, forgiveness, and sacrifice, she questioned whether men are being held to similar standards of personal growth.

“Is the man you’re preparing to become a good wife to equally preparing himself to become a good husband?” Amber asked. “Are we equally encouraging men to embrace responsibility, kindness, faithfulness, and emotional maturity?”

Advocating for mutual commitment, Amber suggested that “Becoming a Husband” masterclasses should be normalized so that both partners enter a union equipped to support each other. She cautioned that being a good wife should never mean losing one’s identity, just as being a good husband requires far more than simply having a supportive partner by one’s side.

“Ultimately, the goal shouldn’t just be to become a good wife, but to build a beautiful marriage with someone who is equally committed to being a good partner,” she concluded.
