The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners franchise posted on Monday a short teaser video with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners characters David and Talia and the caption, "Heroes never die. Edgerunners… well, that's a different story." The announcement teases, "The crews from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 are joining forces with Overwatch in 2027."

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners also teased a collaboration with popular battle royale game Fortnite Battle Royale on Saturday. The account Cyberpunk: Edgerunners posted a short teaser video of Lucy firing a set of guns based on Rebecca. The caption says, "Seriously need to upgrade your Override security, @Fortnite. Our netrunner told us getting past it was child's play… She's available for a consult if you'd like to upgrade. See you soon?"

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the anime series by Studio Trigger based on CD PROJEKT RED's Cyberpunk 2077 game, premiered on Netflix in September 2022. The game is itself based on Mike Pondsmith's Cyberpunk tabletop RPG game series.
The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 anime will debut on October 20 on Netflix.
Kingdom Hearts Comes to Fortnite Battle Royale
The video game-themed season of Fortnite Battle Royale confirmed a further surprise: Kingdom Hearts' Sora is making his appearance in the game, as teased in a short video of Sora wielding the iconic Keyblade on the Fortnite Battle Royale island. Careful viewers will also see the Mickey Mouse charm attached to the pommel of the Keyblade has been replaced with a Fortnite Battle Royale llama charm. According to the post, Sora will be “coming to Fortnite this week!” The company had previously teased the character in a visual for the current season.

Epic Games, producer of Fortnite Battle Royale, has not announced if the collaboration will only feature player cosmetics or include in-game items.
Kingdom Hearts IV will launch simultaneously for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Microsoft Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store in late 2027.
