Anjali REACTS on marriage pressure: ‘It is my wedding, I will do it’

Actress Anjali has often faced questions about her personal life, especially about marriage. The actress recently addressed the topic in a light-hearted conversation and shared why she does not feel the need to rush into marriage.

Instead of giving a fixed timeline, Anjali looked at the subject from a different angle and spoke about how weddings are more enjoyable for friends than for the person getting married. Her candid response has now caught attention among fans.

When asked how she feels whenever someone asks, “When is the wedding?”, Anjali gave a clear but playful response in a chat with Indiaglitz. “It is my wedding. I will do it. I don’t understand,” she said, making it clear that the decision about marriage remains personal to her.She then explained why she finds the repeated questions interesting. “After the wedding, everyone will leave. I am the only one,” Anjali said. The actress also pointed out that weddings often become a chance for friends to dress up, enjoy themselves and take part in photoshoots.

Anjali jokes about friends wanting her to get married

Anjali continued the conversation by talking about the way her friends look at weddings. She said her friends also seem to enjoy the dressing up and celebrations that come with a wedding.

“All my friends think like that. You are dressing up. You are having fun,” she said.The actress then questioned whether she really needs to get married just so others can enjoy the celebrations. “Do I have to get married? Think about it. Will it be fun for the bride? Will it be fun for the friends of the bride who dress up and say hey hey?” she asked. Anjali added that the celebration can be fun for friends, but that alone is not a reason for her to get married.

Taking her joke further, Anjali said she has even told her friends that they could get married while she would simply join the celebrations. “Then why should I marry someone else? You do it and I will come. I will dress up and I will do the photoshoot,” she said. She also revealed that her friends continue to ask her about getting dressed up for such occasions, before ending the conversation with a playful, “I can’t respect that.

Sorry.”On the work front, Anjali was last seen in Vishal’s ‘Magudam.’ She is now preparing for Ram’s directorial ‘Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Mazhai,’ in which she stars alongside Soori and Nivin Pauly. The film is scheduled to release on October 1. With her focus currently on her upcoming projects, Anjali’s latest comments show that she is in no hurry to set a date for her wedding plans.
