Keanu Reeves is in talks to team with James Wan for the filmmaker’s latest project, “The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil” at Paramount Pictures.

The Paramount Pictures movie reimagines the 2019 Korean action-crime thriller starring Don Lee (Ma Dong-seok), who is attached to reprise his role opposite Reeves. The original film debuted at the Cannes Film Festival that year.

Wan is set to direct and produce the new movie alongside Michael Clear and Jason Blum (via Blumhouse Atomic Monster), Lee (via Big Punch Global), Sylvester Stallone and D. Matt Geller (via Balboa Productions), and Chris S. Lee (B&C Group. Lorenzo di Bonaventura has come on board to produce.

Eric Pearson wrote the latest script, based on previous drafts by Shay Hatten and Brian Helgeland. Helgeland and Billy Acumen will executive produce.
