Dua Lipa is hailed an 'Albanian queen' as she perfectly balances a glass on her head while performing a traditional dance with her dad at a family wedding in Prishtina

Three months after her lavish wedding celebrations in Sicily, Dua Lipa spent the weekend partying at her cousin's nuptials.

The pop superstar shared a look at her cousin And Gjakova's 'big Albanian wedding' as he tied the knot with bride Rozafa Kelmendi in the Kosovo city of Prishtina.

Posting to Instagram, Dua, 31, impressed her 88 million followers as she shared a video of herself performing a traditional dance with her dad during the reception.

Expertly balancing a glass on her head, Dua showed off her dance moves as friends and family cheered her on. 

'Our Albanian queen,' hailed one fan, whilst her dad Dukagjin, 57, joked in the comment section 'I'm still dancing'.

Others simply asked 'is there anything you can't do,' and remarked 'She’s the definition of living her best life.'

Dua added a sweet caption to her carousel of wedding snaps and videos, writing: 'My cousin married the woman of his dreams and we had a big Albanian wedding!!! @andgjakova @kelmendirozafa.' 

She added 'po na rritet rrethi!!!!!' which translates as 'our circle is growing.' 

There was no sign of Dua's husband Callum Turner at the wedding. Instead Dua enjoyed the weekend with her dad, mum Anesa, 54, sister Rina, 25 and brother Gjin, 20.

The pop star looked stunning in a feathered black dress for the big day, which featured a daringly low back. 

Earlier in the weekend she wowed in a Lou de Bètoly vintage crochet top, posing for selfies with her family.

Dua has proudly spoken of her Kosovo Albanian heritage in the past. The star was born in London in 1995 after her parents migrated from Kosovo, and as a child she spoke Albanian as her first language.

The family returned to Prishtina after Kosovo declared independence in 2008. Dua then came back to the UK at the age of 15 to pursue her music career, living with a family friend in London.

Dua was granted Albanian citizenship in 2022, in a ceremony conducted by president, Bajram Begaj, who said she has made Albanians famous throughout the world because of her music.

Together with her father, she co-founded the Sunny Hill Foundation in 2016 to raise funds with annual concerts held in Kosovo to help people experiencing financial difficulties.

Dua recently shared she and husband Callum 'never lost sight of one another' during their wedding, as they strived to 'create so many memories' on their big day.

The pair first married in a legal ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall in May, and just one week later they jetted to Italy for their grand wedding.

She told Vogue Italia: 'Our wedding day was magical. We received so much advice, but we decided to follow just two suggestions: to experience the day as though we were guests ourselves, and to keep finding each other throughout the crowd, never losing sight of one another. That way, we created so many memories together.'

Discussing how she navigates balancing her work and personal life, Dua added: 'I'm very good at finding a balance between work, hobbies, and family.

'I've never put my ambition aside, and I'm fortunate to be with someone who loves working as much as I do. We understand and support each other'.

'To me, he's family. Our creative language is unique. When we make decisions together, it's as if we share the same brain - we follow the same instincts.'

Dua also shared that her newfound happiness as a married woman may begin to affect her upcoming music, having previously taken inspiration from heartbreak.

She said: 'It's easier to write love songs when your heart is broken because heartbreak is such a powerful, loud emotion.

'But now I want to discover what happens when you truly find love. I'm interested in the complexities of a relationship - its quieter moments, the little things.'

Callum also recently revealed his plans to start a family with his new wife in rare comments about their life together.

The couple are said to be relocating to the States later in the year, while Callum films back-to-back projects.

In a recent interview he opened up about their potential next steps as a couple, when asked by Esquire UK whether family would be a priority for him in the next decade.

He said: 'Obviously, yeah, I'm 36. I'd like to have a family and raise some kids.'

On how he found his wedding day, he sweetly added: 'It was amazing… It was the most beautiful day of my life. It's nice to find someone that you love and who loves you and you want to be around all the time.'

Dua has previously spoken about whether she would like children or not telling British Vogue: 'I'd love to have kids one day.

'But it's like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time - how it would fit in with my job and how it would work if I went on tour, and how much time out I'd have to take.

'I think it's just one of those things that's going to happen when it happens. I love kids, but I think there's so much more to raising a child than just loving children.'
