What’s the story? Tickets for Oasis’ 2027 tour sell out

Every ticket for the Britpop group’s 42 live shows across Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, France, Italy, US and Ireland have sold.

It comes weeks after the Britpop band, led by Liam and Noel Gallagher, announced they would head back on the road with Oasis Live ’27 following the success of their Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour.

Liam posted on X: “That’s all folks we have officially sold out no more tickets left congratulations to everyone who got a ticket and to the people who didn’t sneak in f*** it yolo.”

In the UK, ticket sales took place from Friday until Sunday – with three selling windows each day.

Fans who were successful in purchasing a ticket had to pre-register before being randomly selected to receive a unique non-transferable code to access an allocated on-sale window.

The structure was created to reduce waiting times in anticipation of high demand.

It comes after some fans who attempted to purchase tickets for the Oasis Live ’25 shows in 2024 ran into a number of issues – including varying pricing and scalping, which saw tickets listed on resale sites for more than £1,000.

A Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) investigation was launched last year into the way Ticketmaster sold the tickets.

The probe found Ticketmaster did not tell fans waiting in lengthy queues that standing tickets were being sold at two different prices, and that prices would jump as soon as the cheap tickets sold out.

The CMA said Ticketmaster must now tell fans 24 hours in advance if a tiered pricing system is being used, as it was for Oasis standing tickets.

Following the probe, Ticketmaster said: “We welcome the CMA’s confirmation that there was no dynamic pricing, no unfair practices and that we did not breach consumer law.

“To further improve the customer experience, we’ve voluntarily committed to clearer communication about ticket prices in queues.”

Fans are reminded to remain vigilant and avoid scams selling tickets on social media or on secondary websites which are also liable to be cancelled.

Resale tickets will only be available via Ticketmaster and Twickets, at the price originally paid, nearer to the tour dates.

Standard ticket prices were fixed and ranged between £71.50 and £266.60.

Demand for the tour has been so great that Oasis added four extra dates, including two at Knebworth on September 25 and 26, where they famously played two concerts in August 1996 to an audience of more than 100,000 fans each night.

The reunion came following a long-standing feud between Liam and Noel after the band split in 2009 – reportedly prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in France.

The band have had eight UK number one singles and eight UK number one albums, with Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back In Anger and Roll With It among their best-known hits.
