Official: Lazio sell Patric to Al-Ettifaq

Lazio defender Patric has officially joined UAE side Al-Ettifaq, the Biancocelesti said.
Serie A side Lazio have confirmed the transfer of Spanish central defender Patric to Al-Ettifaq.
“S.S. Lazio announces that it has permanently transferred the player Patricio Gabarrón Gil to Al-Ettifaq, a club in the United Arab Emirates,” the Biancocelesti said in a statement on Monday.
Patric, 33, made 16 appearances across all competitions with Lazio last season, but hadn’t yet played a single minute in competitive matches under Gennaro Gattuso in the 2026-27 campaign.
The Spaniard joined the Biancocelesti from Barcelona’s youth sector in 2015 and went on to make 244 appearances for the Serie A side, scoring six goals.
During his time at the Stadio Olimpico, he won the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana twice.
