Apple Sends Invites Out for ‘Pro and Tell’ Special Event on Oct. 28

Translate

Apple is holding a surprise special event at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET on Oct. 28 in Los Angeles that the company has dubbed “Pro and Tell,” according to invitations sent out on Monday.

“Can’t wait to pro and tell next week,” Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of marketing, wrote on X.

Apple did not immediately respond to CNET’s request for comment. The company is historically tight-lipped about what products it shows at its events, so we don’t expect to see any other details until the event on Oct. 28.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple could unveil a revamped MacBook Pro with an OLED touchscreen display as well as a new OLED iPad mini at the event.

Apple’s Pro and Tell event comes just weeks after its Welcome Home event, where it unveiled a lineup of smart home products, and almost two months after Apple’s Surprise and Shine event, where it announced the iPhone Duo as well as the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max and the Apple Watch Series 12. So while we may not know for sure what products Apple will announce at its Pro and Tell event, we likely won’t see new iPhones, Apple Watches or HomePods.
