He wrote lists for ScreenRant from 2017-2022, became a news writer in 2023, a senior staff writer in 2024, and an editor in 2025.

After Lanterns dominated HBO Max, two of its stars now have the number one series on Netflix. The DC Universe show follows Green Lantern Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) and his trainee John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) as they investigate an alien threat in Rushville, Nebraska in 2016, followed by another mystery in the same town a decade later. Other characters include Sheriff Kerry Kane (Kelly Macdonald), Zoe Macon (Poorna Jagannathan), Will Macon (Garrett Dillahunt), Sinestro (Ulrich Thomsen), Antaan (Paul Ben-Victor), John Stewart Sr. (J. Alphones Nicholson), Bernadette Stewart (Jasmine Cephas Jones), Billy Macon (Jason Ritter), and Noah Macon (Shea Pritchard).

Lanterns received stellar reviews from critics, with ScreenRant's Felipe Rangel giving it nine out of 10 stars and the show earning a "Certified Fresh" 91% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes. The cast's performances have been widely praised, and the series has broken numerous viewership records for HBO Max, along with being number one on the streaming platform for most of its run. Now, two of its stars are in Netflix's Nobody Wants This season 3.

Nobody Wants This, Featuring Two Major Lanterns Stars, Is Netflix's New #1 Show

Two days after the premiere of season 3, Nobody Wants This is Netflix's number one show in the United States, ahead of Love is Blind, From, The New Stanford Prison Experiment, The Diplomat, Below, The Great British Baking Show, Theo Von: I'm Doing Fine, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, and TYSON. On the worldwide chart, it is in second place, only behind Lupin. The romantic comedy series is centered on the relationship between agnostic sex and dating podcaster Joanne Williams (Kristen Bell) and Rabbi Noak Roklov (Adam Brody).

Lanterns star Ben-Victor has played Noah's father, Ilan Roklov, as a recurring character since season 1 and reprises the role in season 3. The new season also features Lanterns' Jagannathan making her series debut as Eleanor, who is the aunt of Sebastian (Andrew Rannells) and a publishing executive. She meets with Joanne's sister, Morgan Williams (Justine Lupe) about a book proposal after Morgan goes viral for a podcast episode.

The Nobody Wants This cast has always been star-studded between Bell and Brody playing the two leading roles, along with a cast that features Ben-Victor, Lupe, Timothy Simons as Adam's brother, Sasha Roklov, Jackie Tohn as Sasha's wife, Esther Roklov, Tovah Feldshuh as Noah and Sasha's mother, Bina Roklov, Stephanie Faracy as Joanne and Morgan's mother, Lynn Williams, and Michael Hitchock as Joanne and Morgan's father, Henry Williams.

Seth Rogen played Rabbi Neil in season 2, and now season 3 has not only added Jagannathan, but also Rannells, Sarah Silverman as Rabbi Eden, Avan Jogia as Joanne's ex-boyfriend, Travis, Adam Sandler's daughter, Sadie Sandler, as tarot reader Denis Richards, and English Teacher's Stephanie Koenig as Sasha's date, Poppy.

Nobody Wants This season 3 reviews have generally been positive, leading to an 87% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes as of this writing and the overall consensus being that it is a significant improvement over season 2. With the immediately high viewership and mostly positive reviews, the series is off to a promising start for its chances of being renewed for season 4, and potentially featuring an even more star-studded cast next time around.

All episodes of Nobody Wants This are streaming on Netflix.
