"Joe wants Sadie to ruin one of the village's strongest marriages, and she is more than up to the challenge," explains our Emmerdale insider.

Still seeking revenge on Ruby and Caleb's part in Dawn's death, Joe is using Sadie as his accomplice to mess with his enemies, while she poses as their pal.
With her stilettoes firmly under the Miligans' table, smart Sadie has clocked the duo's weak spots and knows how to use them to her advantage.

"Sadie lies that Caleb asked her to monitor Ruby's drinking," reveals our spy. "Ruby rages thinking her husband has gone behind her back, and defiantly heads to the pub to prove she can have a tipple whenever she likes.
"This gives Sadie the perfect chance to stir things up further, by making Ruby look like she can't handle her booze."
Provoking a public row with Manpreet, Sadie smiles as Ruby flies off the handle and the punters think she's out of order. Caleb gets involved, and two-faced Sadie insists she tried to curb his other half's boozing, while simultaneously playing the supportive friend to Ruby.
The following day, Sadie plants a seed in Ruby's mind that Caleb has a nasty controlling streak. Knowing Ruby is sensitive to being silenced by toxic men, Sadie hopes this will destabilise her marriage.

Ruby's not convinced Caleb is that bad, so Sadie ups her game to make him appear more unreasonable. With an important business meeting scheduled, Sadie encourages Ruby to have a cheeky bevvy beforehand for Dutch courage, and show Caleb that he can't tell her what to do. Then she sits back and waits for the fireworks to start…
"Caleb is fuming when he catches Ruby drinking before the meeting," continues our source. "He's sure she has a serious problem with alcohol. Their argument is witnessed by Ruby's client, which doesn't make the most professional of impressions!"
The client abruptly leaves decidedly unimpressed, leaving Ruby and Caleb to blame each other for the meeting ending in disaster. Ruby storms off, so Sadie seizes the opportunity to sidle up to Caleb and fuel his fears about his other half's drinking.
Before long, Ruby is starting to believe Sadie's theory that Caleb is trying to control her. What will she do next?
