PSL announce MTN8 semis venues and times

The MTN8 draw produced two exciting encounters, with Sekhukhune United facing Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns taking on Golden Arrows.

MTN8 SEMI-FINAL DATES CONFIRMED

The first legs will take place this weekend. Sekhukhune United will host Orlando Pirates on Saturday, 22 August at Peter Mokaba Stadium. The match kicks off at 15:00.

On Sunday, 23 August, Mamelodi Sundowns will welcome Golden Arrows at Lucas Moripe Stadium, with kick-off also scheduled for 15:00. The second legs will follow the following weekend.

Orlando Pirates will host Sekhukhune United at Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday, 29 August at 15:00. Meanwhile, Golden Arrows will welcome Mamelodi Sundowns at King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday, 30 August at 15:00.

ORLANDO PIRATES DOMINATE MTN8

Orlando Pirates enter the semi-finals as the dominant force in the MTN8. The Buccaneers have won the competition five times in the past six editions, including the last four tournaments from 2022 to 2025.

Over the past decade, Bidvest Wits, SuperSport United, Cape Town City, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates have all lifted the trophy.
