The Marvel Cinematic Universe is getting ready for its biggest war yet.

While Avengers: Endgame Encore is currently in theaters, allowing audience members to relive the epic 2019 installment, the next upcoming MCU movies will be putting the focus back on Earth's Mightiest Heroes. As Doomsday is only months away from being released, new details are already emerging about the follow-up.

In a new Vanity Fair piece about Florence Pugh, the outlet revealed that the Black Widow and Thunderbolts* star is set to return for Avengers: Secret Wars after 2026's Doomsday. When referencing her upcoming gigs, they stated, "However she works, it’s working. When the dust settles on East of Eden and Doomsday and Dune, Pugh will head right into a series of new opportunities. The list includes at least one more Marvel film, Avengers: Secret Wars, out next December; a small role in the upcoming Andy Samberg movie 42.6 Years as the younger version of a character played by Annette Bening."
