Taylor Swift Releases Four New Songs

On Wednesday, Taylor Swift announced that her single “Patient Zero,” would arrive on schedule at midnight, but with three additional songs. “Patient Zero,” “Cleveland!,” “Pink Clouding,” and “Babylon,” are all included on The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore. The following day, Taylor Swift shared a video teaser of her new single, “Patient Zero,” but fans will have to wait to see the whole thing—which includes Swift, Colin Farrell, and Dakota Johnson—Sunday night at the MTV VMAs. For now, though, you can check out the four new songs below.

The new album is the latest redux of a 2025 album that already had expansions with names like So Glamorous Cabaret Version and So Punk on the Internet Version. Swift wrote the extra tracks with collaborators Max Martin and Shellback, after visiting them in Sweden to celebrate the original LP’s success.

Since sending Showgirl to No. 1 last October, Swift has been inducted into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the National Recording Registry, and released a song called “I Knew It, I Knew You” for Toy Story 5. At Sunday’s VMAs, she will receive the inaugural “Artist Director Honors,” an award seemingly invented to justify her attendance.
