Barcelona’s Dani Olmo will miss this weekend’s El Clasico against Real Madrid with an injury sustained during its UEFA Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Spanish international was forced to leave the pitch midway through the first-half of the Catalan side’s 4-2 defeat to the two-time European champion.
“Tests have confirmed that Dani Olmo is suffering an injury to his left thigh,” said the La Liga champion in a statement, confirming he will be sidelined for “approximately one month”.

An absence that long would also rule Olmo out of matches against Alaves and Atletico Madrid, as well as facing Aston Villa in the Champions League.
He would also likely be absent for Spain’s UEFA Nations League matches against England and Czechia on November 12 and 15 respectively.
