The Legend of Zelda turns 40 this year, and there's a lot to celebrate from nearly every corner of the series. From the original NES game that started it all, to the quirky Zelda 2: Adventures of Link, through the 3D era into Ocarina of Time (which is getting a remake later this year), and beyond.

40 years is a long time, and very few franchises can boast that they've been around for that many decades. Thanks to a new reveal from Takara Tomy, we know when the next celebration will be for Twilight Princess, as well as the Legend of Zelda series as a whole [via Siliconera].

If you're a massive Legend of Zelda fan, you'll be able to celebrate the entire run of the series very soon, as a new collection is coming out very soon in Japan. It's a 12-piece charm set distributed through gachapon machines in the region, expanding the previous Zelda charm set to include more games.

As Takara Tomy notes, these were previously released in gacha form in Japan, but are now back with even more SKUs. They're called "weighty charms" and are essentially pieces of the Triforce in charm form. They're 3.5cm in size, will cost roughly 300 yen per piece, and arrive in October.

Here are all the charms on offer, spanning the entire series:

• The Legend of Zelda
• Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
• Zelda: A Link to the Past
• Zelda: Ocarina of Time
• Zelda: Majora’s Mask
• Zelda: The Wind Waker
• Zelda: Twilight Princess
• Zelda: Skyward Sword
• Zelda: Breath of the Wild
• Zelda: Link’s Awakening Remake
• Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
• Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

Note: None of these charms were previously released outside Japan, forcing fans to import them. While the previous gacha delivery method made that harder, this new full set could be released in different regions. Keep an eye out, but know it could still be exclusive to Japan.

For reference, the charms that were originally released earlier this year were derived from a smaller selection of games comprising only of six entries:

• Zelda: The Wind Waker
• Zelda: Twilight Princess
• Zelda: Breath of the Wild

That set goes for around $45 shipped on eBay, imported from Japan, so these Legend of Zelda charms aren't unobtainable. The low 200 yen ensures that if you're a collector, you can pick these up, even via import, at a decent price.
