Police record statements in probe into 13-year-old student's fall from school building

KULIM: Police are recording statements from several people after a 13-year-old student fell from the third floor of a secondary school here on Sunday.
Kulim police chief Superintendent Syamsul Sinring said the boy was seriously injured in the incident and is still receiving treatment at Kulim Hospital.
"We are recording statements from several people and no arrests have been made in the case," he said when contacted today.
Earlier, it was reported that the incident have occurred around 3.40pm during recess.
Police received a report from a 48-year-old male teacher who found the student lying on the floor near the stairs of Block E.
It was revealed that the student was believed to have been experiencing academic-related pressure.
