Justice and Gesaffelstein drop new ‘Grand Theft Auto 6’ track ‘Pusher’

Translate

French electronic duo Justice have shared a new track from their eagerly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 score.

Titled ‘Pusher’, the seven-minute epic is a bassy collaboration with French DJ-producer Gesaffelstein, who is often called “the dark prince of techno”. You can give it a listen below.

It was confirmed last week that Justice have created an original score for Grand Theft Auto 6. The seasoned duo – Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay – have also contributed to ‘Grand Theft Auto 6 – The Album’, which features 34 brand new tracks from some of the biggest artists around.

However, one report claims Rockstar Games originally wanted Daft Punk to compose the Grand Theft Auto 6 score, but the dance titans weren’t interested in reforming for the game.

In addition, the first six in-game radio stations for Grand Theft Auto 6 have been confirmed with Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey, Robyn and Slayer‘s King Kerry and Tom Araya set to host.

Last month, Rockstar teamed up with Netflix for an extended look at Grand Theft Auto 6. The 26-minute showcase featured brand new gameplay footage and a better look at co-protagonists Lucia and Jason, who’ll be trying to survive the tough streets of Vice City in the highly-anticipated game.

‘Grand Theft Auto: An Extended Look’ racked up more than 31.1million views in its first few days on Netflix, and was the most-watched show on the streamer in 87 of the 93 countries that Netflix services. A further 33million people have watched on YouTube.

The extended look features an eclectic array of music, including Cliff Richard‘s 1976 pop-rock hit ‘Devil Woman’, which has since received a significant streaming boost. Despite the song’s revival, the veteran singer has since revealed that he doesn’t know what GTA6 is.
