Coronation Street reveals huge Kit Green twist as shock passion is confirmed

Kit Green was left regretting a night of passion in tonight's Coronation Street episode. The latest instalment of the ITV soap focused entirely on Kit as he received life-changing news.
After his girlfriend Sarah Platt was arrested for murder, and the couple subsequently split, Kit has now been told that he has stage three breast cancer.
But his storyline took another shocking twist tonight as it was revealed he had gotten intimate with a surprising character.

Tonight's episode began with a mystery figure leaving Kit's flat, the closing of the door waking him from a deep sleep.
He snoozed his alarm and stared longingly at a picture of himself and Sarah on his phone screen before appearing filled with regret - but why?
Kit goes about his day as usual, questioning a teen in the hospital and visiting the corner shop, and hearing about Debbie Webster's birthday celebrations, which he considers going to.
He snaps at his co-worker, DS Lisa Swain, who asked if Sarah's situation is why he is in such a foul mood. He brushed off her questioning and headed to the hospital again to attend an appointment with his consultant.
The consultant confirmed that he has stage three breast cancer and it’s spread to his lymph nodes, requiring a CT scan and a possible mastectomy and further treatment.

Reeling from the news, he calls into the Rovers to enjoy Debbie's birthday celebrations, pasting on a fake smile and knocking back drinks while Bernie Winters watched on with concern.
Debbie gave an emotional speech, which saw Kit overcome by his own emotions after his troubling health news.
Todd Grimshaw walked into the backyard and found Kit there, asking him what’s eating him up, to which Kit blurted out that he’s got stage three breast cancer.
Kit made Todd promise to keep the news to himself, as the likelihood is that Bernie and Gemma both have the gene, and he doesn’t want to be the one to tell them.
As Kit headed off, Sarah's daughter Bethany Platt appeared and he said that he doesn’t want to talk about them sleeping together and to leave him alone.
Bethany appeared livid to be given the cold shoulder, which surely spells further drama down the line for Kit and Sarah if she finds out what happened.
Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
