The Asian Games 2026 will be held Aichi-Nagoya between September 19 and October 4.

The weightlifting event, in which India will be represented by four women, will get underway on September 23 and conclude on September 29.

Three-time Commonwealth Games gold-medallist Mirabai Chanu, who is yet to win a medal at the Asian Games, will lead India’s charge in the event.
