Raveena Tandon begins shooting for Shivarajkumar’s ‘A For Anand’

Bollywood diva Raveena Tandon has started shooting for the upcoming Kannada film ‘A For Anand’, directed by MG Srinivas. The film stars Shivarajkumar in the lead role and it will be for the first time the two actors will share screen space.

According to a report by Cinema Express, Raveena Tandon began filming on Wednesday at Presidency University in Bengaluru. The shoot started with an inaugural ceremony, during which the actress was felicitated by the university’s founder-chairman, Dr Nissar Ahmed.Speaking about the project, the collaboration brings Raveena and Shivarajkumar together for the first time. Shivarajkumar, who was recently seen in ‘Bail’, is currently working on several projects.Meanwhile, director MG Srinivas, also known as Srini, previously collaborated with Shivarajkumar on the heist entertainer ‘Ghost’. The Kannada veteran also has the upcoming film ‘Original Monster’ in his pipeline.‘A For Anand’ is backed by Geetha Shivarajkumar under the Geetha Pictures banner. Arjun Janya is composing the music, while Mahendra Simha is handling the cinematography and Deepu S Kumar is overseeing the editing.

On the other hand, Raveena Tandon has also been part of well known Kannada projects including her collaboration with Upendra’s 1999 cult classic ‘Upendra’. She later also received attention among Kannada audiences for her role in Yash’s ‘KGF: Chapter 2’.Recently, she appeared in ‘Vishwanath And Sons’, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual drama starring Suriya and Mamitha Baiju.
