Standard Shopping

Each Amazon Prime Day, household essentials tend to steal the spotlight. It’s the perfect opportunity to finally snap up a deal on those wishlist items you’ve been meaning to buy but keep putting off – and, for me, a heated airer is one of them.

Alongside deals on everything from air fryers to dehumidifiers, Lakeland’s Dry:Soon 3-Tier Heated Clothes Airer has also been heavily discounted. Better yet, it’s been recommended by household writer Zoe Griffin.

In her review of the best heated airers, she gave Lakeland’s appliance five stars, adding that the “quality stands out.” Drying your laundry load faster and easier during the winter months, it’s a must-have this Prime Day – particularly with 20 per cent off.

Lakeland has 11 different models in their range; however, it's the OG that stands out. Writer and household appliance tester Zoe Griffin recently reviewed the airer, noting that it arrived in one piece, “so I could unfold the frame, arrange the shelves and start loading it immediately. The aluminium bars warmed within seconds and, unlike a winged airer, the vertical layout gave me three useful levels without taking over the whole room.”

With 21m of rail space, capacity for around 15kg of washing and shelves that can be independently folded, this is one of the best heated airers out there.

  • Dimensions: D 73 x W75 x H137 cm
  • Drying space: 21m
  • Maximum capacity: 15kg
  • Timer: No
  • Guarantee: 3 years
  • Running cost: 8p/hour
