Former Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has backed Cristiano Ronaldo to reach 1,000 career goals, describing the Portuguese forward as a “beast” while reaffirming his lifelong loyalty to the Spanish club.

Carvajal expressed confidence in Ronaldo’s ability to achieve the historic milestone during an interview with Spanish newspaper AS.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano on X on Wednesday, Carvajal was quoted as saying, “Cristiano Ronaldo will reach 1,000 goals for sure! He’s a beast,” Carvajal said.

Ronaldo, widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, has continued to pursue the landmark total through his remarkable goalscoring career.

The former Real Madrid forward established himself as one of the club’s greatest players during his nine-year spell at the Santiago Bernabéu, winning multiple major trophies and becoming its all-time leading goalscorer.

Carvajal also reaffirmed his deep connection with Real Madrid, insisting that his loyalty to the club would never change.

“I was born Madridista and I will die Madridista,” he said.

The Spanish defender, who came through Real Madrid’s youth system before establishing himself in the first team, has enjoyed considerable success with the club, winning numerous domestic and European titles.

Carvajal further revealed his desire to experience another memorable comeback victory at the Santiago Bernabéu, where Real Madrid have produced several dramatic turnarounds in European competition.

“I’d pay any money needed just to experience another magic remontada night at the Bernabéu,” he said.

Real Madrid have built a reputation for producing remarkable comebacks, particularly in the UEFA Champions League, where late goals and dramatic finishes have helped the club overcome seemingly impossible situations.

Carvajal’s comments underline his admiration for Ronaldo’s goalscoring achievements and his enduring emotional attachment to Real Madrid, as he looks forward to more unforgettable nights at the Bernabéu.
