Police appeal to find man who absconded from care facility in east London

A 46-year-old man has gone missing after fleeing from staff while on escorted leave from a care facility in Ilford.

Balasankar Narayanan, 46 was last seen at 2pm on Thursday when he ran off from staff in South Park.

He is described as having shaved hair, and was wearing a light green t-shirt, grey/black shorts, black socks with red stripes, and grey shoes.

Met Police

They are now appealing to members of the public to help locate him.

Police suspect that he might be in east, central or west London.
