Serie A: Inter beats Udinese to stay level with perfect Roma

Defending champion Inter Milan fought hard to maintain its 100 per cent record in Serie A this season, recovering from two goals down to beating Udinese 5-3 on Monday.

Inter is level on points with Roma, which also maintained its perfect start with a 2-0 win over Torino.

Both sides have 12 points from four matches and will face each other next at the Stadio Olimpico. Como beat Parma 2-1 to move to third in the standings.

James ⁠Abankwah and Jurgen Ekkelenkamp scored twice in the opening 16 minutes to stun the Nerazzurri. Carlos Augusto halved the deficit with a long-strike strike before Nicolo Barella equalised 10 minutes before halftime.

Marcus Thuram scored in the 59th minute to complete the turnaround before Francesco Esposito and Ange-Yoan Bonny made it 5-2. Udinese pulled one ​back in stoppage time through Idrissa Gueye.

Malen fires Roma past Torino

Roma completed a 2-0 win over Torino thanks to goals from Donyell Malen and Niccolo Pisilli.

Malen opened the scoring after pouncing on a defensive error from goalkeeper Lucas Perri. Pisilli wrapped up the points late in the game, turning in a pass from Gianluca Mancini.

Elsewhere, Como followed up its midweek win in the UEFA Champions League with a 2-1 home win over ‌Parma with Jacobo Ramon and Kaiki Bruno finding the net.
