El primer ministro de Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, ha felicitado este lunes a su “amigo” Flávio Bolsonaro por su “gran victoria” en la primera vuelta de las elecciones presidenciales en Brasil.

Bolsonaro se ha hecho con un 47% de los votos, con lo que se enfrentará en segunda ronda con el actual mandatario, Luis Inácio Lula da Silva.

“Felicidades a Flávio Bolsonaro por la votación de ayer y buena suerte en la final”, ha dicho Netanyahu en un mensaje publicado por su oficina a través de redes sociales. “Espero con interés restablecer la extraordinaria amistad entre Israel y Brasil. Mis mejores deseos por su gran victoria, amigo mío”, ha zanjado.

El candidato ultraderechista e hijo del expresidente Jair Bolsonaro se enfrentará el 25 de octubre a Lula da Silva, quien ha obtenido alrededor del 45% de las papeletas en la segunda vuelta.
