The Green Bay Packers are placing wide receiver Jayden Reed on injured reserve due to the neck injury he suffered in Week 2 against the New York Jets, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Reed, 26, is out indefinitely, if not for the season, as he continues his recovery.
Apparently reacting to the news, he posted to Instagram on Wednesday: "God will use the unusual to do the unexpected... 11 out."
Reed, who signed a three-year, $50.25 million contract extension in April, has four receptions for 24 yards in two games this season.
A second-round pick of the Packers in 2023, he has 142 catches for 1,881 yards and 18 total touchdowns in his career.
