Move over GTA 6, we're gearing up for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, and the release date isn't far away!
September's Zelda Direct gave us the best look yet at the reimagining of one of gaming's greatest games.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake release date is Thursday 5 November 2026.
This was confirmed during the September 2026 Zelda Direct, with the announcement going live on social media too.
GTA 6 doesn’t release until 19 November 2026, leaving a nice gap for the Ocarina of Time that many others would not dare to fill.
Can I pre-order the Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake?
Yes, the Ocarina of Time remake is now available for purchase.
The easiest way to get your hands on it is to purchase it directly from the Nintendo Store for £49.99 / $59.99.

The gameplay, which debuted in early September, showcase a number of quality-of-life improvements, including the addition of jumping and dashing, which should make getting around a bit easier.
The game will also make use of the Nintendo Switch 2's built in microphone, allowing you to hum musical notes in real life that will play on your in-game ocarina. Cool, right?
There have been some rumours going around that Nintendo may be adding some extra content to the game, including things like the Temple of Light, which was cut from the original game due to time constraints.
