Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has unveiled a proposed leadership executive for the Linda Mwananchi Movement (LMM) Party, nominating high-profile figures including former Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza, Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi, and former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Faith Odhiambo to senior party roles.

Speaking on Friday, October 30, 2026, during the launch of the party’s secretariat in Nairobi, Sifuna outlined a restructured leadership framework consisting of a party leader and four deputy party leaders ahead of the upcoming National Delegates Conference (NDC).

Under the proposed lineup, Sifuna named Kawira Mwangaza, former Mavoko MP Patrick Makau, and Faith Odhiambo as deputy party leaders, with a fourth deputy position reserved for a representative from the Coast region.

“We will be proposing that we structure the party so that we have a party leader and four deputies. For now, we have resolved that Kawira Mwangaza has decided to be one of the party leaders,” Sifuna announced.

Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi has been tapped for party chairperson, to be deputized by former Makadara MP Reuben Ndolo.

Suba South MP Caroli Omondi was fronted for Secretary-General, with political commentator Pauline Njoroge nominated as his deputy. Kisii Senator Richard Onyonka was proposed for National Treasurer, with Abigael Gikonyo as deputy treasurer
