Over 1000+ shows more added for Saturday
Due to multiple films running alongside it, the crime thriller debuted with 16,125 shows on opening day. As expected, for the first Saturday, more shows have been allocated to it considering the overall craze among audiences. Except Hanuman Ansh, no other Hindi film is raking in significant numbers, benefiting the latest Drishyam film with the show count jumping from 16,125 to 17,226 shows today. It’s an increase of 1,101 shows, with the total expected to rise again on Sunday.
Rakes in close to a superb 22 crore gross through day 2 advance bookings
As per the advance booking update of day 2, Drishyam 3 has sold 5.88 lakh tickets (excluding blocked seats). In terms of collections, it has grossed a massive 21.91 crore at the Indian box office through second-day advances. Compared to day 1’s 27.92 crore gross, it has dropped by 21.52%, which is normal, considering it is coming off a big national holiday. Day 2 prediction: Drishyam 3 eyes a blockbuster Saturday!
Besides excellent advances, Drishyam 3 is likely to go overdrive in the evening and night shows since it is enjoying a terrific word-of-mouth. Being a little conservative in approach, we expect the film to smash 53-58 crore net at the Indian box office on its first Saturday. The drop could be seen since the film is coming off a national holiday. Nonetheless, a blockbuster Saturday is on the cards!
