“I Am the Solution”: Pastor Kanyari Steps Up 2027 Parliamentary Bid for Kasarani
Controversial preacher and salvation ministry leader Pastor Victor Kanyari has declared himself the ultimate remedy for the leadership deficit in Kasarani, as he steps up his campaign for the constituency’s parliamentary seat ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Addressing a crowd of supporters during a recent campaign trail, Kanyari insisted that Kasarani requires tested, decisive leadership to tackle long-standing service delivery failures and infrastructure gaps.
“Leadership is what is needed in Kasarani, and I believe I’m the best solution for Kasarani people,” Kanyari stated, projecting confidence in his ability to transform the area.
Kanyari’s recent declaration builds on momentum from previous political engagements. In September 2026, while speaking alongside Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro in Njiiru, Kanyari expressed his desire to replicate Nyoro’s widely praised constituency development model in Nairobi.
“I will become the Ndindi Nyoro of Kasarani. Kasarani deserves my leadership as MP so it can rise,” he proclaimed, highlighting neglected roads, inadequate water distribution, and underfunded schools in areas like Njiiru and Ruai as his top priority targets.
In an effort to win over voters, Kanyari has been spearheading local community empowerment drives tailored toward youth and single mothers. His platform centers on heavy investments in local infrastructure, clean water access, youth employment, and educational bursaries.
The battle for the Kasarani seat is shaping up to be one of Nairobi’s most colorful political contests. Kanyari’s campaign comes amid a growing field of unconventional aspirants, including musician Stevo Simple Boy, who has also declared his intention to vie for the seat in 2027.
