‘War’ Trailer: Sienna Miller and Dominic West Endure a Bitter Divorce Battle in HBO and Sky’s Legal Drama

Sienna Miller and Dominic West are at the center of an intense divorce trial in the trailer for HBO and Sky’s upcoming series “War.”
Hailing from “Lupin” and “Hijack” creator George Kay, “War” is a “high-stakes, legal drama following the lives of London’s most powerful lawyers as firms Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne clash over a headline-grabbing legal battle,” the official synopsis reads.
The anthology series’ first season — it has already been renewed for Season 2, which will focus on an explosive defamation case — follows the “divorce of British tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson (West) and international film star Carla Duval (Miller), as Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne stop at nothing to secure victory for their clients,” the description continues.
Alongside Miller and West, the “War” Season 1 stars Phoebe Fox as Serena Byrne and James McArdle as Nicholas Taylor, partners in life and business at Taylor & Byrne; Archie Renaux as Jonathan “Johnny” Warren; as well asNina Sosanya as Beatrice “Queen Bea” Ubosi and Pip Torrens as St John Smallwood, their counterparts and fierce rivals at Cathcarts & Sons. Other cast members include Celia Imrie, Nick Mohammed, Emma Laird, Aran Murphy, Archie Panjabi, Adrian Scarborough, Shaheen Jafargholi, Akiya Henry, Honor Swinton Byrne, Miles Jupp, Kartanya Maynard, Alexandra Mardell, Dylan Edwards, Mark Quartley and Steve Furst.
“War” is co-produced by New Pictures (a Banijay company) and Observatory Pictures, in association with Sky and HBO. It’s set to premiere Oct. 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will stream the next day on HBO Max. In the U.K., it will premiere Oct. 2 on Sky and streaming service NOW.
