A man previously linked to a robbery in which he was seen wearing only underwear has been caught on CCTV footage again, this time prowling around a residential area in General Santos City.

In a report by Efren Mamac on GMA Regional TV One Mindanao on Tuesday, CCTV footage showed the suspect slowly walking outside a house in Purok 5, Barangay Conel, on Friday night. He was wearing only briefs and carrying a pair of slippers.

However, the man eventually left without breaking into any of the houses in the area.

Barangay officials said the suspect may have found another target in an area without CCTV cameras.

The same man was previously caught on camera breaking into a house in General Santos City last month, where he allegedly stole jewelry and other belongings worth approximately ₱70,000.

Following the latest incident, police vowed to intensify their efforts to track down and arrest the suspect.

According to Police Major Robert Fores, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office 12 (PRO-12), the regional director has ordered police officials in the city to step up their search for the suspect following his reported return to criminal activity.

Authorities continue to work toward identifying the suspect's whereabouts and bringing him to justice. —RF, GMA News
