If the reports are true, Will Smith is expected to shoot his portions during an overseas schedule.According to reports, discussions between the makers and Will Smith have continued for nearly a year. The actor is reportedly being considered for the role of the primary antagonist.

A report by Mid Day has claimed that Will Smith could shoot his portions during an overseas schedule. The production team is yet to finalise the location.The choice of destination will reportedly depend on the Hollywood actor's availability.The report says, “Will Smith’s dates are being worked out. The overseas location will be locked depending on his availability. His costumes have been finalised and there is immense excitement in the crew for the next leg,”

Shah Rukh Khan's appearance in 'Raaka'

Shah Rukh Khan's reported association with 'Raaka' has also generated attention. Earlier reports had claimed that the Bollywood superstar was not part of the movie.

However, another report now suggests that Shah Rukh Khan could participate in the international shooting schedule.The report stated, “Shah Rukh will also join the international schedule at some point. He is currently shooting the final song for ‘King’, and will face the camera for ‘Raaka’ after September.”If confirmed, the reported schedule could feature both Will Smith and Shah Rukh Khan alongside the movie's existing cast.

'Raaka' reportedly features two timelines

Directed by Atlee, 'Raaka' is being developed as a large-scale sci-fi action and fantasy movie. The story is reportedly structured around two different periods.According to a report by India Today, one section of the narrative will be set during a tribal Puranic Vedic era. The other portion will reportedly take place in the modern period.The two timelines are expected to form an interconnected narrative and the reported concept also suggests that the movie will combine historical elements with contemporary science fiction and fantasy.

Deepika Padukone and Mrunal Thakur linked to roles

Deepika Padukone is expected to play the female lead in the historical portion of 'Raaka'.Mrunal Thakur has reportedly been linked to the modern-day section of the story.The movie is currently expected to reach theatres in late 2027. However, the makers are yet to announce an official release date.
