New Ali G movie with "gobsmacking" ending is already available to watch at home

If you didn't catch new Ali G movie Who Iz I? during its very brief cinema run last weekend, then fret not as it has just landed on streaming. The film sees the return of Sacha Baron Cohen's comic character, as he heads to America to reclaim his former glory after learning his girlfriend Julie is pregnant.
Earlier this week, it was confirmed that the movie would drop imminently on Prime Video, and it is now available on the streamer as of today.
Viewers who don't have Prime can sign-up for a 30-day free trial, giving you the full range of benefits including faster delivery, access to Amazon Music, and access to cheaper ODEON cinema tickets each month. After the trial ends, it will roll onto a paid membership fee of £8.99 a month, or £95 a year.

Ali G: Who Iz I? marks Cohen's debut as a feature director, and also features Morgana Robinson as Julie.
The movie wasn't hugely well received by critics, sitting at just 48% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 29 reviews.
In a two-star review, Empire noted the film's ending, writing: "Mercifully, Baron Cohen finds some extraordinary patsies that make the last act gobsmacking viewing, if you can make it that far."
TheWrap noted that Cohen "has always elicited a strong reaction", adding: "Ali G: Who Iz I? does not. After a quarter of a century pushing boundaries, that makes this his most offensive project yet."

"The film has a few scattered giggles, but it’s dawdling and cumbersome, and far less 'relevant' than it thinks," said Variety.
The Hollywood Reporter wrote: "Cohen is so naturally funny and quick with improvisation that there are plenty of laughs along the way. And while much of the material is offensive, that’s really the point. But the humor starts to drag with the feature-length running time."
Ali G: Who Iz I? is available to stream now on Prime Video.
