Warner Bros. Discovery Strikes Mega Content Deal With UK’s ITV For TLC & Quest Shows Like ‘Mock The Week’, ‘Dr. Pimple Popper’, ‘Salvage Hunters’

Now tha the $110B mega-merger is complete, thoughts will soon turn to what happens to Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery‘s (WBD) various international outposts.
For now, WBD international’s first move of this era is to reveal a first-of-its-kind content partnership with UK net ITV.
From today, 2,000 hours of content from WBD-owned TLC and Quest will air on special branded collections on streamer ITVX.
Shows available from day one include TLC’s Mock the Week Series 1, The Bad Skin Clinic Series 1 and Dr. Pimple Popper Series 1. Mock the Week, one of TLC’s biggest shows, will then move Season 2 to ITVX next year once that one has aired.
In the coming months, ITVX will also welcome a Quest-branded collection which will include titles from the Salvage Hunters and Shed & Buried franchises, alongside Vinnie Jones in the Country and Richard Hammond’s Workshop. Further comedy titles will continue to drop throughout 2027.
Graham Lafferty, WBD’s SVP Content Strategy & Networks, said: “The combination of TLC’s local comedy originals and global reality franchises brings something to the platform for every user, whether it’s the return of Mock the Week, brand-new Unacceptable hosted by Ed Gamble, or some of our hugely successful global franchises.”
UK networks have repeatedly been urged to consolidate and strike partnerships in this vein and ITV already has a content-swapping deal with Disney+.
The move comes with speculation around the future shape of Paramount and WBD once the merger beds in. Yesterday, Ynon Kreiz, a former Endemol Group and Fox Kids Europe boss, became Co-CEO of the soon-to-expand media giant.
