Translate

Two people have reportedly been rushed to the hospital after some pillars of the Breaking Yoke Ministry church building at Klagon, near Lashibi in Accra, collapsed on them.

The two are said to have been part of a group that was offloading cement at the site.

A video posted on social media by Sammy Kay Media shows the scene. In it, a man is heard saying about eight men were offloading cement when the pillars came down.

Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service are at the site assessing the situation and some residents believe more people are trapped under the debris and need urgent help.

This is a developing story and we will update it as more information comes in.
