Serie A Show: Examining the big games in Round 4
Juventus suffered a 3-2 defeat away to Sassuolo in an entertaining encounter, while Milan produced an impressive fightback at Lazio. The Rossoneri found themselves two goals behind but battled back to secure a 2-2 draw and take a valuable point from the Olimpico.
Napoli, meanwhile, continued their positive start with a narrow 1-0 victory over Bologna, adding another three points to their tally in a tightly contested match.
One particularly striking statistic has also emerged from the opening rounds of the campaign: there has still not been a single 0-0 draw in Serie A this season. With goals and drama continuing to dominate the league, it may be fair to suggest that Roberto De Zerbi’s recent comments about Italian football came at an unfortunate time — at least judging by what we have seen on the pitch so far.
