Steelers Win In France While Kuntz Gives Big In Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Steelers proved they can win anywhere on Sunday, beating the Cleveland Browns 27-6 at Acrisure Stadium. That win matters, but the team did something even better this week that shows who they really are. While the city celebrated Halloween, players left their helmets behind to visit kids and drop cash for families in need. This is the kind of blue-collar heart that makes this franchise special.

Costumes and Cash for Kids

On Friday, Asante Samuel Jr. Halloween costumes were worn by Max Hurleman, Will Howard and Jack Sawyer as they visited the Children's Home of Pittsburgh. They spent the afternoon playing games and making crafts with the kids, just like regular fans would do for their own families. Three of those four players will take off those costumes and put on their Steelers uniforms for the big game on Sunday. It is a nice touch that reminds everyone these players are part of the community first.

The generosity did not stop with a visit. The Pittsburgh Morrow's Resource Room opening received $10,000 from Cam Kuntz via his Kuntz 4 Ki6s foundation, according to Steelers Depot. This money will fill the room with fresh food, snacks, hygiene products and other items that students and families actually need. According to the Steelers' Community Relations team, this space is a dedicated spot to support those in the city who need a helping hand.

Steelers Fans Rule in Paris

The team also showed their strength on the global stage last week in France. Even though the NFL called it a Saints home game, the crowd did not act like it. The stadium held over 78,000 people, and the air felt full of black and gold. While the Saints fans chanted "Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints?", the Steelers fans shouted back with a loud "We dat!"

When the Terrible Towels started spinning on big plays, the crowd split shifted heavily toward Pittsburgh. One Saints fan even asked her husband, "How come we don't have flags or towels?" after watching the Steelers fans go wild. That question proves the Terrible Towel is still the most powerful thing in the NFL. The Steelers offense moved well despite missing some receivers, and players like Jaylen Warren and DK Metcalf made huge plays to keep the team ahead.

The win over Cleveland was a clear statement, but the season is far from over. Much football remains to be played before the 2027 NFL Draft arrives. The team has shown it can handle the pressure at home and the noise in a foreign city. With Rico Dowdle spelling Warren and Brandon Smith making clutch catches, the roster looks deep and ready.
