Anele Mdoda has clapped back at trolls who labelled her “racist”. This comes amid a call from rugby fans to boycott the 947 presenter’s breakfast show following her comments about Springbok Andre Esterhuizen.

The media personality called for the Bok to receive a rugby ban amid reports of his alleged K-word racial attack in 2012.

ANELE MDODA CLAPS BACK AT ‘RACIST’ CLAIMS

On her X account, Anele Mdoda claimed back at trolls who labelled her “racist” over her Andre Esterhuizen comments last month.

When one claimed that she “hates white culture”, Anele responded: “If you are going to be full of insults, you are going to have to be well read.

Another troll called her an “inferior hateful black”, to which she clapped back with a quote that read: “Baby, they’re stupid. Now let’s move on”.

‘HE DID USE THAT WORD’

Over the past few days, Anele Mdoda’s name has been trending on social media after she publicly condemned Andre Esterhuizen’s alleged K-word racial slur.

The media personality had responded to a media clipping from 2012, when the Springbok was just 18 years old. Anele tweeted: “He should be banned from playing rugby period!”

Her views were met with backlash, with rugby fans calling for a boycott of Anele’s 947 breakfast show.

The 42-year-old clapped back at one critic on her X account, posting: “You need to be very careful with the media storm you are calling towards Andre here.

She added: “It won’t end well cause he did use that word”

Anele added that she had been inundated with verbal attacks from the “hyenas on Facebook”.
