Last One Laughing unveils trailer for Halloween special with 2 returning favourites

Translate

Prime Video has released the first trailer for Last One Laughing: Halloween, a frightfully funny spin on the BAFTA-winning comedy series, and it reunites two familiar faces from the show's previous seasons.

The spooky special sees comedians Jack Dee, Daisy May Cooper, Phil Wang, Lou Sanders, Reece Shearsmith, Harriet Dyer and Tom Allen locked in a battle of nerves and wit as they try to break their rivals without cracking themselves. Jimmy Carr will return as host once more, along with Roisin Conaty back as his deputy.

The first three episodes of Last One Laughing: Halloween launches on Prime Video on Friday 23 October, followed by the final episode on 30 October.

And in this special, there is a new rule - as shown in the spooky new trailer below - in which alongside the usual ban on laughing, screaming also means elimination. Fans can expect cursed props, ghostly interruptions and spine-tingling surprises, all of which have been designed to catch even the bravest comic off guard.

As per the synopsis, the famous faces will "use every ounce of their comedic talent to break their opponents without laughing or screaming". The rules are simple: laugh and you're out, scream and you're out.

The special lands off the back of a strong awards run for the series. The first season of Last One Laughing won best entertainment programme at the 2026 BAFTA Television Awards, while Bob Mortimer took home best entertainment performance for his turn on the show.

It also won the comedy entertainment award at the 2026 RTS Programme Awards, best entertainment programme at the 2026 Broadcast Awards and best entertainment series at the 2025 Edinburgh TV Festival.

Seasons 1 and 2 of the UK version are available to watch on Prime Video now, with a third season due to launch in 2027.

Last One Laughing: Halloween will available to stream on Amazon Prime Video from Friday 23 October 2026. You can sign up to Amazon Prime Video for a 30-day free trial.
