Megan Thee Stallion Teases ‘Act III’ With ‘Tina Tuesday Freestyle’ Amuse Bouche

Megan Thee Stallion knows she “look too good, AI couldn’t generate it,” or so she says on her new song, “Tina Tuesday Freestyle.” The music video for the song, on which Megan raps in front of an orange sports car, could be AI generated but probably isn’t because she actually touches the car while talking about how good she looks. Tina, of course, is a nod to her Tina Snow character she named an EP after in 2018.

The song is all rap with one head-turning “did she really say that?” sex rhyme after another: “He want the whole enchilada, hope I pop that bean,” she raps at one point, with “Yeah, yeah, pop that bean” in the background. And another: “Watch who I fuck, you bitches is cucks/I can tell nobody makin’ you bust/A squirrel about mine, I’m gon’ get my nut.”

The song is Megan’s first single of the year (unless you’re counting the FIFA World Cup song “DNA (More Than a Game)” she recorded with Andrea Bocelli) which ushers in Megan’s Act III. She hasn’t yet revealed a release date, though, and when Rolling Stone texted the phone number on her YouTube bio to ask when it’s coming, “she” replied only with a link to sign up for marketing emails.

The busy artist, who recently appeared on Broadway in Moulin Rouge. did tell Marie Claire, though, that she had hoped the album would come out this summer and was upset when she looked at her calendar to find out that wasn’t happening. “I was very sad because I came to the realization that I was not gonna drop a summer album,” she said. “I wanted to take my time and record and really write and figure it out.” So fans should brace themselves for a Hot Girl [season redacted].
