Badminton at the 2026 Asian Games will be held at the Ichinomiya City Municipal Gymnasium between September 20 and 29.

A 20-member Indian contingent will compete across seven disciplines.

In the previous edition in Hangzhou, India won three medals in badminton. The men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty bagged the nation’s first-ever Asian Games gold in the sport. The men’s team won a silver while H.S. Prannoy won a bronze in men’s singles.
