Big Brother icon Tiffany Pollard 'to enter the house next week' in latest guest stint

Translate

David's dead. The "Old maiden type of shoes" Diary Room rant. Those two moments alone have earned Tiffany Pollard a place in the Big Brother Hall of Fame, and it looks like she really is going back into the house this season.

A month ago, it was reported that Tiffany would be one of the celebrities temporarily becoming a housemate again, following Jedward and her nemesis Gemma Collins.

The Sun is claiming that her return has been "confirmed" and that she will be appearing the current season next week to spend a few nights in the house.

Digital Spy has reached out to ITV for further comment.

Despite her iconic moments — one of which became the basis for a Zara Larsson song last year — Tiffany didn't actually win her season of Celebrity Big Brother in early 2016.

The star actually finished in fourth place after Darren Day, Stephanie Davis, and winner Scotty T.

She did manage to place higher than Daniella Westbrook, John Partridge, Megan McKenna, Gemma and David Gest.

While this season has attracted some celebrity guest housemates and performed well in terms of viewing figures for ITV, it has also attracted controversy for housemate Omar's behaviour towards Rihanna.

In a response to fans calling for producers to "step in", a spokesperson for the show said: "All Housemates receive Respect and Inclusion training and an extensive briefing from the Big Brother Senior team to prepare them for living in the House and to set out Big Brother’s expectations for appropriate behaviour and language.

"Housemates are monitored 24 hours a day and any instances of inappropriate behaviour are responded to appropriately.

"Welfare and safeguarding are prioritised throughout the production, with a dedicated welfare team available to support Housemates before, during and after their time in the House."

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
