Govinda joins family for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
Bollywood actor Govinda returned from the US and joined his family for their Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The actor arrived late at night but still made time for Ganpati darshan with his children, Tina Ahuja and Yashvrdhn Ahuja.Govinda headed directly to his family after returning from the US. He offered prayers to Lord Ganesha and participated in the festivities. The actor also spoke with the media about the festival's importance to his family and how the tradition has continued across generations.According to Govinda, the family's Ganpati celebrations have their roots in his mother. He said he has followed the tradition for years and is now happy to see Yashvrdhn Ahuja carrying it forward.
Govinda recalls his family's Ganpati tradition
Speaking to ANI, Govinda opened up about the family's long association with Ganesh Chaturthi. He said the tradition was established by his mother and has remained an important part of their household."This is a tradition in our house from my mother. I've been doing this for years, and now Yash is doing it. I pray to Bappa to give Yash his best wishes and blessings. May there be blessings of success and prosperity," he said.
Govinda prays for Tina and Yashvrdhn
Govinda expressed a special wish for his daughter Tina Ahuja as he sought blessings from Lord Ganesha. He hoped she would find happiness and have a good family life.For Yashvrdhn Ahuja, the actor prayed for a successful career and a future without hardships. Yashvrdhn is preparing to enter the Hindi film industry, following the family's connection with cinema. "May God bless Tina with a good home and family. And Yash, the way he has carried forward his family's legacy, I hope he becomes even more successful.
I hope he becomes so successful that people say he's even better than Govinda.

Sunita Ahuja welcomes Ganpati Bappa
Before Govinda returned home, his wife Sunita Ahuja had welcomed Ganpati Bappa with their children. Videos from the celebrations appeared on social media on Sunday.Sunita Ahuja was seen dancing as the idol was brought home. Her celebrations also led to questions about Govinda's absence from the occasion.
She later explained that Govinda was in the US and was expected to return at night."Govinda ji is in America, he’ll come back at night. If he is tired, he won’t come for darshan today and instead will come tomorrow. This is his house, so he has to come."
Yashvrdhn Ahuja set for acting debut
Sunita Ahuja also revealed that she personally brought Ganpati Bappa home this year. She said this responsibility is usually taken up by either Govinda or Yashvrdhn Ahuja. “I brought Ganpati home this time with a lot of singing and dancing – usually, Govinda ji or Yashvrdhn bring him," Sunita said.The celebrations come at an important time for Yashvrdhn Ahuja. Govinda's son is preparing to make his acting debut with the upcoming movie 'Hero Ki Horrorine'. The project also marks director Sajid Khan's return to the silver screen.
